Halter Top

I haven't post on Crochet Chicks in awhile so here is one of my latest.:)


I made my daughter Nellie a halter top.

So here goes.



Front

Took a little brake from here and there
Yarn, Caron Simply and Soft, Blue Country
H hook
Single, Double stitches

Back, it lacy down and ties up at the bottom. It also ties up at the top around her neck.

See aint it so pretty. Nellie totally loves it she didn't want to take it off. It's not hot enough for her to wear this yet but, shoot who says, I can't get all her summer clothes crocheted or sewn up now.

My latest projects a cute tank top for my daughter and a hair rap:)



Front, I know it looks more like a dress I think I went overboard on those shell stitches lol but, I did want it to be long.

Aint it oh so cute. I know that Gold didn't think she inspire me but, Gold you did. I like to see a lot of what everyone else is doing it keeps me on my toes. Plus this also helps me to get away from crocheting purses lol. :)


Now ok with this pretty sky blue hair rap.


Didn't take long at all to finish this.

Oh So Purple

Love this purple shirt I made for my daughter Nellie it's oh so purple lol:)

An Alternate Spike SC stitch

Loved this stitch first time using it love that it closes up the stitches very well hiding the wholes from the stitches.

An Slant Stitch
I also liked this one never done a slant stitch or work from one part of the stitching then find myself going back to a stitch that was slip to make the slant. Like this stitch. I used it for the bottom of the shirt.

My Daughter's Boat Neck Shirt :)

Well finally finished up my little daughter Nellie's boat-neck shirt. She so loves it. She said, mom I want another one like this. She ran to my boxes of yarn picking out the colors she wanted for her next boat-neck shirt. LOL dont know about making another one I told her I need to get to make you some sweaters.
Sorry now pattern my own trial and error


A work in progress this morning one sleeve done.


Here she goes, a close up. Her and her peppermint boat-neck shirt with long bell sleeves. I want to close up towards the neck a little bit more ran out of yarn so will have to add on later.
Aint she cute.

For My Oldest Daughter

My Latest Project for my oldest daughter.



I brought this plain white shirt of my daughter. I really don't like these shirts because it's so plain but, I still buy them to jazz the shirts up a bit. Like dye it or give it a little glamour and spice to it but, this time I wanted to crochet a bolero for it. :) So here is the before and now the after.



See there you have it a little crochet jazz style to the shirt. My daughter loves it:) Sorry no picture with her she's gone for the weekend.:)

For My Girls/ For Crochet-A-Long #1

Ok here go some house shoes I whipped up for my girls. I was practicing to see how it turns out while doing the first shoe. My girls was ohhhh and awwwwing so I decided to go ahead and finished them up and here they go.

To the left is my oldest daughter Nesa's house shoes to the right is Nellie's house shoes that's my youngest and last child:)




Here go Nellie with her pointed toe house shoes. Reminds me of elfs shoes lol.

Again no pattern one day I will have to sit and write a pattern as I crochet it's just that I am so used to making up as I go. :) So what do you all think??????

Here go my first shirt shirt ever

Well this is the first crochet shirt I've ever crocheted. I've always crocheted halter tops and tube tops but, never a whole shirt so I have to say it is lovely. Like it alot.

Here is my 2 yr old Ms. Nellie showing off her new shirt mommy made. Aint she cute:)

This shirt is done on my own mainly free handed it no pattern followed. Done in single stitches with 2 different yarns.
